Please find attached our latest Salmon Watch Ireland newsletter, reminding supporters of our Annual Conference on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone.

This year's conference brings together leading scientists and conservation experts to discuss the challenges facing Ireland's wild Atlantic salmon and the actions needed to secure their future.

The newsletter also highlights our Salmon Hero Awards and encourages everyone concerned about the future of wild salmon to engage with the public consultation on salmon management policy.

We strongly encourage supporters to book their conference tickets now and to share the newsletter with others who may be interested in attending.

We look forward to seeing you in Athlone.Newsletter Number 49 - Conference 2026
